HYDROELECTRIC ENERGY
Brennand Energia currently has ten SHPs (small hydropower plants) in operation, with a total installed capacity of 206 MW. Together these plants generate an average of around 1.3 million MWh of clean energy per year, equivalent to the average consumption of 282 thousand Brazilian families. The Company also has fifteen hydro projects under development with external partners in the States of Mato Grosso, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul, totaling 358 MW, of which 60% (215 MW) will be owned by Brennand Energia.
