The Baraúnas XX Wind Farm comprises nine 3.465MW SG-132 wind turbines supplied by Siemens-Gamesa, with a total installed power of 31,185kW. Located in the municipalities of Sento Sé and Sobradinho, both in Bahia State, the wind farm is connected to the National Interconnected System (SIN) at the Sobradinho Substation by means of a 41km dedicated 500kV transmission line. With an estimated annual output of around 140,160 MWh, the wind farm’s power is collected at the 360MVA Arizona Substation, constructed to meet the demand of Brennand Group projects.
