The Baraúnas IV Wind Farm comprises twelve 3.465MW SG-132 wind turbines supplied by Siemens-Gamesa, with a total installed power of 41,580kW. Located in the municipalities of Sento Sé and Sobradinho, Bahia State, the wind farm is connected to the National Interconnected System (SIN) at the Sobradinho Substation by means of a 41km dedicated 500kV transmission line. With an estimated annual output of around 184,836 MWh, the wind farm’s power is collected at the Arizona Substation, rated at 360MVA.
